Oro Orodjarna d.o.o. successfully obtained 674,707.28 EUR in non-repayable funds from SPIRIT Slovenija in the public tender for the promotion of large investments for greater productivity and competitiveness in the Republic of Slovenia September 2024 (JR INVEST September 2024 – NOO). The funds will be used to carry out a large-scale investment with a total value of 1,363,045.00 EUR, which will enable the company to diversify its operations from tool manufacturing to the production of automated lines for stacking and packaging firewood.
The project includes the construction of an extension to the production hall, the purchase of advanced machinery (CNC 5-axis machining center, automated cell, electric pallet forklift), and the implementation of sustainability measures, including the installation of a solar power plant and the introduction of energy-efficient production processes.
The aim of the investment is to develop a fully modular and automated line that will enable the company to achieve greater productivity, lower costs, and higher product quality. The investment will also have a significant impact on the wider environment, as it will bring knowledge transfer, cooperation with local educational institutions, and further strengthen sustainable development.
The project will be implemented between September 2024 and June 2026 and will contribute in the long term to increasing the company's competitiveness and strengthening economic development in the local environment.
