In ORO Orodjarna we are committed to the development of state-of-the-art methods and technologies. One step toward the realization of this vision is to start working with the Faculty of Computer and Information Science of the University of Ljubljana, by signing a PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT FORECASTING AND OPTIMIZATION OF PRODUCTION IN THE TOOL INDUSTRY. This agreement is based on the public tender "Project work for gaining of practical experience and knowledge for students in the working environment 2022/2023" within the framework of the Operational Program for the implementation of the European Cohesion Policy in the period 2014-2020.
With this project, we are opening the door to artificial intelligence in the toolmaking industry. Despite a lot of available applications for production planning, this still remains a problem in our industry.
